Rocks at the Beach

A long, long time ago, there used to be a jetty separating the Armed Forces base from the public beach by where we live. Eventually the rocks were submerged underwater and they became something to avoid while swimming in the water by the dividing line.

However, recent crazy tides have unearthed these rocks from their watery life, exposing them to the sun, and of course, curious little boys.

"Come on Mom, Let's go explore!"

But first, we have to go back to our stuff and get some toys...

Escher's shadow is telling him so!

The rocks formed a really cool tidal pool, which became Escher's favorite place to play that day.

He jumped.

And played.

And jumped some more!

Nothing gives Escher greater satisfaction than to plop down with a giant SPLASH! into the water.

From where I'm sitting, does it look like I'm trespassing? Hmm...
